The Tin Building in Lipton will hold auditions for The Dizie Swim Club, a two woman role age 43 or older. Auditions are Sunday August 16 at 2 pm and Monday August 17 at 7 pm, contact 675-2278.
The middle school registration runs August 10 to 12 from 8 am to 4 pm. All students and at least one parent or guardian must attend. Parents and students complete paperwork and review schedules. New students must bring birth certificate shot record social security card. See CMS Page 2.
Buckner will speak at the Bosque County Genealogical Society meeting at Clifton Civic Center on Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. The talk will cover researching military records, secondary sources, and learning how to document genealogy with timelines and sources. A discussion will follow as Buckner reviews resources at the Waco McLennan County Library and central library in Waco.
