Clifton Garden Club Hosts Ninth Annual Flower Show
The Clifton Garden Club held its ninth annual flower show titled House Party of Flowers on April 18 at Miss Bernice Shhow’s home 1503 West Hackberry Street with about 110 guests from Clifton and nearby towns. Blue ribbons and sweepstakes were awarded in multiple sections including horticulture and arrangements, with judges from Meridian and Waco.

Selmer Erickson Post No. 322 Clifton earned two honors at the 11th District American Legion convention in Rockdale April 20 and 21.
