Local residents stage Running Wild a political musical revue at Bettis Auditorium Clifton Friday and Saturday April 22 and 23. Proceeds benefit Clifton City Park improvements. Cast includes Douglas Railsback T F Crawford Edward Bryn Lanelle Wells Joyce Schmidt and Bill Painter with a Ly lullabye League marching mothers and Tiny Tot Snow White scenes. Albert N Petterson Dies at 48 in Bosque County
Albert Norman Petterson 48 of Route 2 Avoca died April 14 at his farm near Stamford after a battle with lung cancer. Born November 14, 1911 near Clifton, he served in World War II and married Margaret Reed in 1946. Survived by wife Margaret and son Randy Norman, plus siblings and step-siblings. Funeral April 15 at Bethel Lutheran Church with burial there.

Funeral Held for Mrs. W. A. Cox in Cisco
Mrs. Ole S. Seljos Mrs. E. J. Dietiker and Eugene Dietiker attended funeral services at the Methodist Church in Cisco on Friday at 5 00 P M for their longtime friend Mrs. W A Cox of that city who was critically injured when struck by a car after church services the previous Wednesday night and died about two hours later.
