Anti-Drug Essays Read At Lions Club
The Clifton Lions Club honored three students for the annual How Drugs Affect Lives essay contest. Clarissa Mata won third place for sixth grade, Jordan Woosley took second for seventh grade, and Shelton Dowden earned first for seventh grade. Each received winning checks after reading. Jim Gibbons reported a successful map and broom sale, with about 400 dollars raised from a 2,000 item sale to support club activities.
