Obituary for H G Hoop Bob Hood longtime Valley Millis resident
Loved ones remember H G Hoop Bob Hood of Valley Millis who died April 16 2020 at home in McGregor. A life celebration is set for April 23 at the Pate of the Karem Shrine in Waco. Hood was born October 20 1926 in Lincoln Nebraska and served as superintendent of construction for 23 years then for Gilson Han Co in Kansas City. He held multiple Masonic and Shrine titles and was active in VFW, York Rite, and other fraternal groups. Surviving are his wife Helen daughters Jamesoe Mayfield and Carol Parnell and others in Texas and California. The family requests donations to Shriner Hospitals or Scottish Rite Hospitals in lieu of flowers.
