Jaycees Host 19-Team Clifton Volleyball Tourney
Seventeen teams from Central Texas compete in the Clifton Jaycees sponsored volleyball tournament starting Wednesday with eight elimination games each night. Admission is 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for students, concessions by the Girls Outsiders. Final matches and exhibition by Clifton Jaycees set for Saturday night.

Clifton Golf Club Discusses Expansion and New Officers
Merle Belcher was elected president with B. P. Holt as vice president and Don Olson as secretary treasurer. Retiring leader J. C Kincheloe and outgoing secretary treasurer Robert Baldridge Jr. were acknowledged as terms end. The club eyed extra acreage to add two greens between the sewer plant and rodeo area. Clifton Junior High Cub Cindermen won a four-team practice meet here Tuesday with 189 points. Wayne Prescher clocked 50.5 seconds in the 440 at the Cub Relays, hailed as Clifton’s best 440 time in history. Clifton girls track to compete in Glen Rose meet tonight.
