Lake Whitney Fishing Report Highlights Strong Catches
The Lake Whitney association reports heavy angling with many black bass and stripers up to eight pounds. Lake level at 521.92 feet, about 11 feet below normal, water 57 degrees, weekly rainfall 0.93 inches. Notable catches include Clifton Prescher with seven sand bass and three black bass, Guinn and Bledsoe with 25 sand bass and a 2 pound 6 ounce striper, and numerous anglers reporting multiple fish across crappie, sand bass, and bass deployments on various lures.
