The Clifton Med School Band plans a Monday concert at City Hall at 6 30 pm to benefit a local cause. Forty fort strong the band will perform selections including Honor March Phantom Trumpet taxa Overt and Aarira Over laye with brass, graveet, and saxaphone.

A group of friends hosted Elizabeth McGilvray bride elect of Robert Cherry with a dinner Thursday March 26 at 8 30 PM in the Joseph Nelson home. The table featured a madeira cloth, iris and peach blossoms, pink tapers, mirror place cards with cottages. Miss McGilvray received a crystal service. Guests included Mrs Monroe Kruse of Cranfills Gap, Mrs Albert Hastings of Meridian, Mrs Oliver Miller of Beaumont, Mrs Ringness, Mrs John Erickson, and Frances and Ollie Mae Pederson of Clifton.
Clifton College graduate Elmer Vedi of Appleton Minnesota has begun basic flight training at Greenville Army Flying School. The program, part of the Southeast Air Cocoa Training Center, trains cadets for advanced flying assignments in the Southeast after completion.
