The 1909 graduation list includes valedictorian Mabel Bladon and salutatorian Edna Japsen along with James Carson Dorothea Brandt Orville Singer Minnie Stamper and Claire Hawthorne. A destructive wind moved from Crayford five miles south to Will Beatty. Grant served two months as substitute mail carrier. Hawthorne took over the drug store. Sams redecorated the Methodist church. a cement walk was laid from the Commercial Hotel to the county courthouse. Joe Dattoo bought the Little Brick now the Locker Pint. 18 soldiers buried in Clearfield Cemetery. a G A R roster listed 26 post members.

Veterans mark 25th anniversary at Menoviel Church service
