Ex-Detroit Officer LaBrano Reburied After Grim Slaying
The body of Mark LaBrano 35 once a Detroit police officer was identified this week after being found near Harrison buried in a refrigerator. His wife Shirley LaBrano and her former husband William D. Smith are wanted on murder warrants. The murder involved a love triangle and was carried out with shotgun blasts and a gasoline fire to obscure identification. The body was cremated by the fire and later exhumed for reburial in Centerville Mississippi with Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home arrangements.
