Social visits highlight weekend in Clare County
Mr and Mrs James Porter and family of Lan sing called on her sister Mrs Wayne Buchelz and children en route to Mullet Lake. Ellis H Hughes left Sunday with Sherman Way for a week of fishing in the Thessalan Territory. Mrs Ellen Cloutier dined with Mr and Mrs Norman Gardner. Andrew VanderWoude of McBain visited Ellis H Hughes. Jim Wright and family were guests of Willard Schaaf Fred Vollmer and Sunday callers of Ralph Albee. The Amble circle toured around Lake Superior then visited Brimley and Mancelona. Ray Amble is assistant city engineer at Sault Ste Marie and Dick Amble teaches at Brimley High School. Grace Allison and Paul Moore attended a baby shower in Saginaw and stayed with Paul Osborn’s family. Clint Wood and A E Bartow were guests of Melvin Blevins.
