Harold Stanley Little born June 15 1905 Traverse City died suddenly of a heart attack at his Flint home on Monday September 16. Funeral services were held in Flint Friday at 1 00 p m with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery Clio. He leaves wife Iva and three at home plus two married daughters and three older sons, two Flint sisters, three brothers, two stepbrothers Gordon and Arthur Smith of Lake, an aunt Mrs Jennie Muir and uncle Jesse Sommers of Lake along with many grandchildren and cousins.

Four Hurt In Two Car Crash Near Clare
A two car collision on US 27 nine miles north of Clare left four injured. Austin A. Moore 71 and wife Florence 67 suffered cuts and skull fracture, Dorothy Menthen 43 knee fracture, Anna Laderach 78 skull fracture. All were taken to Clare General Hospital. Moore reportedly turned left in front of Menthen. Police issued him a ticket. The crash occurred about 5 p.m.

Welding shop fire after Thursday storm damages equipment
Firefighters battled a blaze at Francis Loomis Service Welding on Fourth Street after lightning struck a cable during Thursday night storms. The burning cable threatened more damage until Clare Fire Department extinguished it. Norman Maxwell reported seeing the burning cable and alerted the department, Fire Chief Stan Parish said.
