Farwell Boy in Critical Condition After Auto Accident
Patrick Dowsett, 13, of Farwell, is in critical condition with a fractured skull after being struck by a car driven by Carl Pettit of this city on Tuesday evening. He was playing with a dog when he ran into the road and into the vehicle. Doctors F. G. Sanford and J. A. Reeder treated him. he was reported resting easier and somewhat improved at press time.

Drive Careful Clare Garage Obscured Truck Rollover
Bay City man W Short drove a Ruggles truck six miles north of Clare on M14 August 28 and rolled over twice after fast driving on a loose gravel narrow road with $200 damage. Also, Mr Lower from this city collided with a culvert 12 miles north east tearing off a wheel while speeding to turn a corner. James Hill saw a crash with a car parked atop the hill blocking view and causing a head on near the parked vehicle. James Peper of Marquette reportedly left the road at James Hill tearing off front wheels due to fast driving, a broken tie rod, and a flat tire.

A Harrison court house meeting drew about 50 visitors and 25 board of commerce members from Gladwin Clare Marion Temple and Tustin to back an 85 mile M61 trunk line from Standish to Tustin.
