An $11,000 addition to St John s Evangelical Lutheran church in Clare started in early September is scheduled to finish by late November. The project replaces the old steeple with two new rooms and a corner bell tower, adds balcony space, and preserves historical artifacts including a 1907 cornerstone box. Reverend Voss, installed in August, leads the new construction funded by a church building fund and a West donation.
