Elect Bureau Directors and Delegates At Annual Meeting
The Clare County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting in Grant Township Hall on Tuesday October 9. Howard Ryckman Mrs Roy Hammersley Elmer Miller Glen Bay and Mort Shea Jr were elected to two year terms on the county board. Norman Hutchinson was elected director at large and Mrs Walter Krompetz approved as director by virtue of her office as chair of the county women's committee. Delegates to the state annual meeting are Dale Davis Warren White and Elmer Miller with alternates Mrs Wilbur Weldon Frank Humphrey and Earl Owens. The district representative Mr Charles Mumford stressed the importance of the coming election noting two congressmen are to be voted for in each district and urging changes in the state supreme court with two new justices to be elected.
