The Clare Methodist Church hosted a well attended Family Night supper Friday led by the Methodist Men and Women’s Society of Christian Service. Rev. L J Nevins opened with an invocation and spoke on his recent Michigan Conference trip at the United Nations. Mrs. David Leiter Sr. presided over the program and Dorsey Mussell greeted attendees.
Mr and Mrs George Sexton announce a son born November 7 at Mt Pleasant Community Hospital weighing 9 pounds 4 ounces. Mr and Mrs Eyed Sexton and Mr and Mrs Renee Brewer are grandparents. Robin Gay Hamsher, a daughter, was born November 9 in Farwell weighing eight pounds. Julie Ann was born Sunday November 1 weighing ten pounds 3 ounces at Clareshospital. Mother and father are expected home Friday.
