Clare County Board Proceedings April 9 1940 Harrison Michigan
The Clare County Board of Supervisors met April 9 1940 at the Court House Harrison with 23 members present. They elected John W. Dunlop permanent chairman, created standing committees, and discussed hiring a dentist assistant for school children. A noon recess was taken and later actions included committee reports on finances and appropriations for social welfare trout nursery grasshopper control and various departmental budgets. The board adjourned to 10:00 a.m. next day.
