Emil Andrew Grill a longtime watchmaker died at his Clare home Thursday morning after a long illness. Born August 5 1881 near Reed City Michigan he married Margaret Fleming March 10 1912 and leaves a daughter Ruby Fellmer and three stepchildren. Funeral services were held March 24 at Clare and Reed City with burial in Ashton cemetery.

Norman White Burton born August 28 1862 in Lapeer County Michigan died March 16 1946 at his home in Wise Township Isabella County at age 83. He married Samantha Woodman April 1 1883 and had five children Alfred Eugene Eva Lorena who died infancy Adelbert George Preston and Roy Q Burton who predeceased him. He belonged to Evangelical Church Independent Order of Odd Fellows Coleman Masonic Lodge and was a lifelong farmer active in local affairs. He leaves three sons a brother two sisters twenty three grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Funeral services were by his son Alfred E Burton with interment by the Masonic Lodge.
