Grayling residents Howard EH Deckrow 20 and Marie Kenny 15 narrowly escaped with bruises after a Ford coupe collided with a moving Pere Marquette freight locomotive at the McEwan Street grade crossing. Deckrow pleaded guilty to failing to stop for a red signal. both were treated at Clare Hospital and released.

Organization of the Clare County Field Archery Club was announced Tuesday night after a meeting at the High School gym. Two Young Men Apprehended for Stealing Cars
Harry Lyons aged 18 of Hamilton township and Donald Turner aged 17 of Saginaw were arrested by Sheriff Sea ver Amble and Deputy Ed Bruce for joint car thefts. They stole a Dodge from Charles Norph of Harrison at the Shady Lane tavern, drove to Temple where it was abandoned, then took a Ford from Chester Holford of Temple on the return run toward Harrison. Arrested half a mile west of Harrison they pled guilty to unlawfully driving away an automobile and were bound over to circuit court under a $1,000 bond.

The Church of God announces plans to build a parsonage basement this spring. Rev. Davis recently installed an amplifying system from Welland Ontario, aiding Sunday worship. Attendance rose to sixty nine in Sunday School and seventy seven in morning services as pledges and donations continue. The pastor and wife traveled to London Ontario Monday through Friday.

Kite Flyers Warned Against Electric Wires

Tom Fox Demarest 35, Demarest Furniture Mart manager in Lansing, died suddenly Monday after a long illness.
