Soil survey progress in Clare County maps distributed

The County soil survey reached 56 percent completion with Lincoln and Freeman townships mapped last season. Copies of maps are being shared with government units. Hayes Township to be mapped this season. A meeting on March 14 in Harrison will discuss the survey.

More than 2,500 Allis-Chalmers Agricultural Equipment Division dealers attended a Feb 22 farm equipment product introduction in Las Vegas Nevada. The event unveiled the 7030 and 7050 tractors and a Gleaner M combine with design and performance upgrades.
