Mann Siding Ladies Club Meet for Quilting
The Mannsiding Ladies Club gathered Thursday at Mrs. Anna Huskey's home to tie off another quilt. The next meeting is set for March 16 at Mrs. Goldie Davis's house. Alfred Tessman and wife stayed Tuesday night with Erratt and Hazel Austin in Madison Heights, then visited son Leon Tessman and family at the Detroit station where Leon is home from Korea after Air Force service.

Reed City defeated Clare 73-67 as the Coyotes burst to an early 16-8 lead and held on despite a late Pioneer rally. Grant Gillaspy led Clare with 26 points while Tim Haring added 21, but Reed City had four players in double figures including Gary Trimner and John Sahlin with 18 each.

Cadet Troop 646 Ski Trip Details and Hospitality Plans
Cadet Troop 646 took a ski trip to Mott Mountain at the end of January with hot dogs potato chips and pop for refreshments. Buns were provided by Ovenglo company. On March 13 the cadets will host Brownie Troop 787 as part of Hospitality during Girl Scout Week March 12 to 18. Brownie leaders Mrs Hubel and Mrs Kaiser. Cadet leader Mrs Bill Ulrich.
