Mirror Requirements and Sleep Provisions in Michigan Law
The Motor Vehicle Code requires two mirrors on commercial vehicles 1.2 tons or more, so a half ton pickup still needs mirrors on both sides. On sleeping on a limited access highway, stopping is unlawful except in emergencies, and an internal state police edict says sleeping does not meet emergency.
