He reportedly confessed to hardware store burglary and stealing two cars including Dr Lampman’s. Kilmer fired on deputies but was later seized near a railroad bridge with a shotgun in hand. Sophia Garrow 79 died June 12 at the Owosso home of James Graham after a two week illness with heart trouble. She was buried Sunday at Greenwood cemetery. Born in Chatham Ontario she moved to Michigan in 1893 and lived near Harrison before relocating to Owosso eight years ago. Her husband Israel Garrow preceded her in death.
