Sheridan township resident Collie Boughton was arrested for drunkenness at a Roggerman hall dance. He pleaded guilty to being drunk and was fined, then charged with disorderly conduct and fined. A warrant led to seizure of a barrel of wine. Bulman, north of Harrison, was arrested for selling booze and bound over to Circuit Court. Kenneth Babcock of Farwell was charged with concealed weapons and bound over to Circuit Court.

Three People Injured In Sunday Michigan Crash
Edward Kirklaw, Miss Lillian Stram, and Miss Bessie Lawrence were injured Sunday afternoon half a mile west of Sears on M-20. Kirklaw tried to pass Ernest Davis’s car and Davis disputes sounding a horn. Lawrence suffered severe burns and a wounded shoulder. Kirklaw and Stram had minor injuries. They were treated at Clare by Dr. B J Sanford. car was heavily damaged.

Children’s Day Program at Clare Methodist Church

Samuel Zeiter, a respected pioneer of Clare and Isabella counties, died at his home on East 6th Street Wednesday morning June 17 at age 82 years 1 month and 6 days.
