Social at Mann Siding Raises Funds for School Organ
Last Friday's school house social at Mann Siding drew many attendees and raised 14.50 toward an organ for the school. Attendees included Loomis singers and local families. several relatives visited, and ten attended the Monday school meeting where Lewis Brown was re elected moderator. The week featured visits from Verda Olmstead and Nannie Hileman while others traveled to Loomis and Grand Lodge. A funeral in Loomis for a baby was noted as well.

Brand Galvin and family spent Sunday with relatives at Mt Pleasant and reported his wife fine. Hstel Leitner returned to Bay City hospital in a setback while Mrs Leitner remains at his side. Hazel Comer returned home to Lansing after two weeks with grandparents the Comers. Teall children visited Mt Pleasant before returning to Elkhart Indiana with their parents. John Greer spoke with the Comers and shared his wife’s poor condition. Grandparents and neighbors were hosts at several calls and visits around Clare, Mt. Pleasant, and nearby towns.
