The Veterans of World War I and Auxiliary met June 28 in Clare City Hall American Legion rooms for a carry in dinner with 13 members and friends. Commander William Blubaugh read selections from the Memorial Day program while Eva Fuller read a humorous piece. Welcome guests included Helen McBride of Missoula and Frank and Mrs. Freeman from Farwell and Florida. Eva Fuller presided over a brief business session. the next meeting is scheduled for July 26.
