Grant Township Ordinance Creates Fire Run Charge
Grant Township adopts Ordinance Number 2 requiring property owners in Grant to pay 100 dollars for each City Fire Department fire run to Clare. If unpaid by the next tax day the amount becomes a tax lien, and a copy will run in the Clare Sentinel for three weeks. The measure notes insurance coverage can be used to satisfy the charge.
