The Clare Community School lists 16 spring enrichment and recreation offerings beginning Jan 31, with per son signups needed and a minimum of 10 participants. Instructors include Joe Machuta Leslie Streadwick Mary Van Allsburg and others teaching drawing knitting crocheting textile arts lingerie cake decorating photography and more.
Mrs Bulah Burke dined with the Dyke family while the Gunder family recently moved from Leslie visited Amble. Several couples celebrated anniversaries and hosted gatherings in Midland Farwell Gladwin and Houghton Lake with guests from Bay City Holly and Big Rapids. The week included birthday celebrations and a move to Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Members of the Eastern Chapter Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants will meet Tuesday February 1 at Zehnder's Restaurant Frankenmuth. Event begins 6 p.m. with a reception for Lem Barney Detroit Lions, introduced by Peter Burerakos. Frederick E. Fitzhugh CPA chairs.
