Michigan oil operators faced huge price cuts
Michigan oil operators last week faced one of the gravest price conditions in the state's history with cuts across Midland Isabella Gladwin grades. Prices posted by Pure and McClanahan Leonard Pipe Line matched at 1.12 for Midland Isabella and 1.09 to 1.14 for Gladwin. Ogeman and Arenac stayed at 0.80 while Simrall raised some postings to 1.27 and 1.24. The drop implies about a 200,000 dollar monthly revenue decline in the district. Atha and other leaders clashed over strategy at the Oil and Gas Association meeting while calls for direct talks with pipeline firms and refiners lingered.
