Snowmobile Fatality Near Harrison Airport
A Saranac man, Allen Rutz, was killed Thursday evening in a snowmobile accident near Harrison Airport. Deputies say his machine left the south runway, struck a tree, and likely became airborne before landing on him. The call came in at 7 20. The airport area remains closed to air traffic in winter but open to snowmobiles.
