Coming events note several postponements and a new meeting date. The Ladies Union with Mrs Dawe is delayed one week. Clare Good Literature Club starts 1937 with Mrs E H Sternaman next Tuesday. Clare Study Club postpones to January 18. O H E S card party set for Wednesday night in the Chapter room. all are invited.
Wise Township tax collection times and locations listed. Treasurer Sid Floyd Methner states taxes will be received at Loomis on Monday afternoons at Clare County Savings Bank, on Wednesday afternoons at his home, on Thursday and Saturday at the State Bank in Coleman.
Friday night social at Elm Grove hall hosted by the Grange with Burton Rid providing music. Admission is 50 cents for attendees.
Coleman hosts a weekly dance each Wednesday with music by the Petty Orchestra and prizes. Admission 60 cents, manager listed as 61E Watts, 10 cents each at the Clare Variety Store. Lightbulbs of all sizes advertised up to 60.
