Clare County Board Sets Public Works and Budget Actions
Clare County Board of Commissioners met January 20 1970 in Harrison to approve minutes and authorize payments. They funded a 1969 vacation payout, arranged insurance appraisal, accepted a drape bid for the county jail, moved funds to the 1970 Planning Commission, and accepted a planning commission resignation. They created a Department of Public Works, discussed air conditioning bids, and approved equipment purchases and tax correction procedures. Two county births were noted at the end.
