Clare City to Seek 26 Million Bond for Fire Hall
The Clare City Commission will adopt a resolution on the Libhday of March 1957 to authorize Municipal Bonds of 26 million dollars to construct and equip a Fire Hall. The plan levies 2 mills for three years and creates a sinking fund to repay at maturity. The bond issue will be presented to Clare electors at an upcoming election. City officials Laurence Léiter mayor and David Adams city clerk sign the notice.
