Central Michigan Heart Unit launches three county education drive
The Central Michigan Heart Unit of the Michigan Heart Association covering Clare Isabela and Gratiot Counties begins a month long public education campaign on Heart and Circulatory Diseases. Posters literature and leaflets with first aid guidance will be distributed. A February 27 1962 program at Mt. Pleasant Jr High School Auditorium will feature Dr Robert M Stow speaking on Common Sense in Heart Disease.

Time Is Short For License Refunds Deadline Set
The act authorizes credits usable only on 1962 plates and before February 28. Eligible residents must mail credit cards to the Department of State in Lansing by February 15, 1962. Refunds of 350 or more are approved after master record checks. cards are available in 300 State offices and can be mailed or handed to a branch manager for forwarding. Processing takes two to four days plus mailing time.
