Congressman Elford Cederberg announced architectural selection for eight new post offices in Michigan. Clare will gain one, with designated design firm Progressive Engineering Consultants of Grand Rapids. Other cities: Alma, Fremont, Hart, Holland, Ludington, Muskegon, Zeeland. Construction cost set at 339355 dollars with air conditioning planned. contracts to be let later.

January TB Test Clinic and Well Child Clinics Listed

In late June 5.8 inches of rain battered the county washing out culverts and roads while a dam break near Surrey Lake caused a scare.
