Accident at McEwan Road injures two drivers

Police report says at about 9 42 southbound on McEwan near Gateway Lanes a rear end collision injured both drivers. Robinette and Stuckert were treated and released at Clare Osteopathic Hospital. A second crash involving Richard Poet occurred as responders arrived. all three vehicles were towed.

Clare Falls to Mustangs in U S 10 Conference Battle

The Clare team suffered its third straight loss this season as the Mustangs surged to a 42 42 tie entering the final period and pulled away behind hot shooting from Doug Filmore and Jeff Maxwell. Coach Ivan Davis guided Clare in a tight league contest.

Lee Eisenhauer was installed as Worshipful Master of John Q. Look Lodge 404 F and A M in ceremonies Saturday December 13 at the Clare Masonic Temple. Officers installed included Ed Pudway Giles Anderson John Collins Jack Ridderman Lester Cox Courtney Bauer Larry Everts George Brown Tom Beatty Karlyle Coveart Clarence Horn with installing officer George Wilson aided by Judge Donald Holbrook Ed Strouse Robert Seiter and Jack Green. Special music by Sylvia Brooks and Frank Warner with piano by Mrs Barbara Everts.
