Fire Destroys Straw-Bed Fire At Haring Farm Home
A blaze at the Charles Haring farm east of US-27 on Four Mile Road caused about 2000 dollars in damage Monday afternoon. Lanny Haring reportedly used a kerosene soaked cob to thaw pipes, dropping it near straw bunching, which ignited the straw and started the fire. Clare City Fire Department responded and contained the flames.
