Fred Davis, a state highway department worker and father of four, died Tuesday after falling fifty feet into an elevator shaft at Kalamazoo county building while visiting his brother Charles in Schoolcraft. Survivors include his wife, four children, his mother Mrs. D. N. Davis, three brothers and three sisters. Funeral set for Friday at one o clock from the family home with services at Bard Evangelical Church.
