Four Suffer Injuries In Two Area Accidents
Two separate crashes in Clare County over the weekend sent four people to hospital. In Chelsea a car driven by Russell Ferry collided with a semi at Clare Avenue and Surrey Road injuring three Ferry passengers. The semi driver Joseph Johnson and passenger Dale Rouse were uninjured. A 13 year old from Ceresco was hurt when struck by Walter Zbojniewicz’s Ludington operated eastbound car at Fifth and McEwan. The boy Gregory Lawcock was treated at Clare Osteopathic Hospital. Zbojniewicz received a ticket for no proof of insurance. Both incidents are under investigation by state police and local police.
