City Fireman Extinguishes Oil Fire During Fest Run
Fire Chief James Clute reported a practice alarm on the East side at 7 00 Monday evening. Five barrels of waste oil and Fasoline were ignited in a 3 by 15 foot trench. Firemen used fog nozzles on the new pumper to extinguish the blaze within three minutes and tested hoses on all three trucks.
