Dr J B Roe Dies After Long Illness In Lansing
Dr J B Roe aged 53 former Clare resident and longtime local dentist died in Lansing after months of illness. He practiced in the Hiden block and later sold his practice to Dr F W McKnight before moving to Lansing. A former president of the Michigan State Dental Association, he was widely known in the state. Funeral services were held last Monday at 11:00.

Pioneer Couple of Greenwood Hug 55th Wedding Anniversary
Mr and Mrs P P Chaffee of Greenwood township celebrated their fifty fifth wedding anniversary at their son John Chaffee s home. Seventeen attendees included most children and five grandchildren with one great grandchild present.
