Schofield Family Reunion Held in Farwell Sunday
The Schofield family reunion met in Farwell on Sunday August 5 with thirty three members. Rain forced the gathering into the Masonic hall where a bountiful dinner was served. Vice President Ray Schofield led the meeting and Anna Schofield led the program inviting members to share about themselves. Several in service were named and one member Wm Schofield of Saginaw died during the winter. Attendees listed include O C Schofield Forest Grove Oregon and many relatives from Saginaw Ypsilanti Cincinnati Detroit Gilmore Par nel Farwell and more. The group plans to meet near Farwell again next year before Labor Day.

Homer Stinchcomb of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Farwell, is recovering from a badly injured spine at Mercy Hospital Bay City. He fell twenty five feet while painting and sustained the injuries.
