Richard Emerson Passes Away at University Hospital
Richard Emerson a well known Grant township resident for over fifty years died at University Hospital Ann Arbor late Wednesday after months of ill health and two major operations. He lived on his Grant township farm with his niece and husband Lor en Nevills until taken to the hospital Tuesday July 18. Funeral services will be held at Dover Tabernacle at 2:00 Saturday with Rev. Chas Kleinhardt officiating, interment at Cherry Grove Cemetery. Thurston & Son in charge of arrangements. An obituary will be published next week.
