The first Walton family reunion gathered about seventy relatives on Sunday at Alma Park. Officers were elected and plans made for an annual event with the next gathering set for Saginaw in August 1925.
Mercedes Moore daughter of Mrs W E B Clute was hit in the eye by a bullet from an air rifle fired by Harold Clute as she ran toward a house in Sheridan Township. The eye was severely injured with internal bleeding but doctors hope sight may be saved after transfer to Bay City hospital.
