Clare High teachers attend CMU science seminar

Science and mathematics teachers George Perry Wayne Patterson and Floyd Norcutt from Clare High School will visit Central Michigan University for a one day seminar on Frontiers in Science. County Assessments Show Net Increase in Valuation 1965

Clare county supervisors adopted the equalization report on March 24 noting eight townships with reduced total valuations while other units rose, lifting the county total to 29,964,544 from 29,414,701 in 1964. Girl Scouts Host Easter Egg Hunt At Shamrock Lake Park

About 125 girls from three Brownie, three Junior, and one Cadet troops joined for an Easter egg hunt on Monday evening at Shamrock Lake Park. The Cadet troop led the flag ceremony followed by games, songs, and lunch of hot dogs, marshmallows, potato chips, and pop. Leaders praised the combined outing and plan more in the future.

Achievement Day Showcases 186 4-H Projects Across County

The Harrison High School gym hosted the annual spring achievement day with 147 boys and girls presenting 186 projects.
