William Henry Bruckart aged 85 died April 17 1946 at his Sheridan township home after a long life in Ohio and Indiana. He grew up in Van Wert and later farmed in Sheridan. survived by wife Mary Ann Winters four daughters and several grandchildren. Funeral held April 20 at Thurston Funeral Home with Rev. Two Men Injured In Separate Rosebush Incidents
Russell Hubble was thrown from a manure spreader on the Richard Bogan farm near Rosebush when frightened horses ran away. He suffered multiple leg fractures and possible internal injuries and was taken to Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. Joe Phillips of Rosebush sustained severe burn injuries after an oil line explosion on a Phillips farm well east of Rosebush. He was hospitalized in Mt. Pleasant with burns to a hand, arm, chest, and an ankle, plus possible rib fractures.
