Fred Prout Dies After Operation
Frederick Samuel Prout son of Thomas and Mary Prout was born November 8 1888 and died April 1928 after an operation. He married Rebekah Cluley November 27 1901 and they had five children Idith Hazel James Ella and Agnes. He leaves his wife four children three grandchildren two brothers six sisters and many relatives. Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian Church Rosdbush Tuesday afternoon April 10.

Farwell Couple Celebrates Sixty Third Anniversary

George McKnight of Mt Pleasant and John Groves of this city were injured Tuesday when their car struck a tree along Lake George road north of Farwell. The vehicle caught fire after gasoline line ruptured. both men walked away but required medical care for cuts and bruises. They were later taken to Dr W F Clare for treatment.
