A large Bay City gathering at Mrs. Amanda Newman's home honored Jim Allen who arrived from Fort Knox Kentucky at 2 30 a m. The event featured a cake reading Welcome Home Jim and a variety of treats. Many relatives and friends attended and shared meals and well wishes. Jim graduated Friday at Fort Knox with a class of 2200.
