Cornell College Theatre presents Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot with performances at Armstrong Hall Little Theatre at 8:15 p.m. on November 24 and 25, directed by Joseph G Svec assistant professor of speech and dramatic art. A third performance is planned for February.
Clinton Iowa center awards November certificates to fourteen Corpswomen from ten states. Ten completed vocational training, two earned high school diplomas or equivalents, and three applied for the YWCA Job Corps extension. One Missouri graduate earned both vocational and equivalency diplomas. The Clinton Center trains 400 young women aged 16 to 21 for jobs and citizenship, operated by General Learning Corporation as an affiliate of General Electric and Time.

Tvivo A. Kauppi has been named director of materials engineering at Hydro Space Systems Corp. of Cedar Rapids. A 1934 Brown University chemistry graduate, Kauppi will lead research in new materials for oceanic applications. He previously served as research consultant and manager of product engineering at Dow-Corning Co.
Motown Spinners from Detroit topped a Clinton Center public variety show headlined by the group. They performed with soloists Bobby Rush and Anita Anderson. The program also featured C. Thomas Magrum billed as Master of Magic.
Dr. Herbert Hendriks of Cornell College attended a three day Geological Society of America meeting in New Orleans. The session planned summer employment for outstanding geology students through a cooperative effort by the Geologic Society of America American Association of Petroleum Geologists Oklahoma governor and oil industry. Dr Hendriks and Dr Eugene Hinman participated in the planning and meeting ran from November 19 to 20.
