New Sizing for Patterns Changes Home Sewing Measures
An article explains the new pattern sizing system dubbed New Sizing. It notes that pattern sizes will drop about one full size to align with ready to wear, with some patterns already using the new measurements and others to follow monthly. Homemakers should compare old charts to identify which patterns are updated and adjust buying choices accordingly. It also covers how to read labels and the impact on selecting pattern sizes.
